Homemade All-Purpose Cleaner

• 1/4 cup baking soda – helps deodorize foul smells that build up over time


• 1/4 cup white vinegar – helps degrease oven surfaces


• 1 quart water

1. Use the above all-purpose cleaner on the back splash and burners


2. Cover grease spots with cornstarch, it will naturally absorb the grease.

Green Cleaning Ovens

1. Tackle the problem grease spots first. In a slightly warm oven, cover all tough baked on food spills with table salt. Let the oven cool down and wipe the salt away with a damp sponge.


2. Next coat the inside of the oven with a paste made from 8 parts water and 1 part baking soda. You want the mixture to have the consistency of toothpaste. Slightly thick but will stick to the surfaces of the oven.
